I am Julián MartÃnez.
I’m an Editor with over 20 years experience working across documentary, TV series, short films and corporates. I am also an emerging Producer/Director and Bull post productions is my vision for merging Film and TV production with post-production.
The documentary I edited in 2022, ‘Unsinkable’ went on to win 5 awards on its international festival run and has since been broadcast twice on RTE. I’ve edited Irish language series for Tg4 as well as a documentary for the ABC TV Network in Sydney.
I worked with global brands delivering world class video content during my 10 years with Co. Kilkenny based production company, Glass eye. In 2015, I directed and edited a short documentary on Irish design that was funded by the Government initiative ID2015. It was really well received at festivals including the Irish Film Festival London. In 2022, I directed and edited my first short drama ‘Mr Sun’ with production company Emagine, where I spent 5 years as Senior Editor and Producer. I was also Project Manager of the audio visual installation for Ireland's first Wake museum, based in the Viking Triangle.
I’ve just finished producing, directing and editing my second short film, Baby’s Last Ride, with funding from the Waterford City and county council. I’m currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in advanced producing with Screen Ireland and TU Dublin.
